Description

Lyme Disease ImmuneSelect is a peptide pool composed of 41 peptides that cover MHC-II restricted epitopes of Borreliella burgdorferi (Lyme Disease Borrelia). Peptide sequences are collected from the Outer surface protein A, histidine kinase, Borrelia P83/P100 antigens.

The purity of each peptide is ≥95% (HPLC-MS).

Application

The in-vitro stimulation of Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) with Lyme Disease ImmuneSelect activates memory T cells specific to the infection, leading to cytokine secretion and the increased expression of specific surface markers. These biomarkers can be detected using various techniques: ELISpot kits quantify cytokine-producing cells, while flow cytometry measures cells expressing these specific surface markers.
