Description

Human CMV ImmuneSelect is a peptide pool composed of 37 peptides that cover MHC-I restricted epitopes of CMV (or Human herpesvirus 5) pp65, IE1 and UL123 proteins.

The purity of each peptide is ≥95% (HPLC-MS).

Application

The in-vitro stimulation of Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) with CMV ImmuneSelect activates memory T cells specific to the virus, leading to cytokine secretion and the increased expression of specific surface markers. These biomarkers can be detected using various techniques: ELISpot kits quantify cytokine-producing cells, while flow cytometry measures cells expressing these specific surface markers.
