Description

The HHV6 peptide pool contains 42 peptides from Human herpesvirus 6, MHC class–I & II epitopes. Peptide sequences are collected from betaherpesvirus 6A (HHV-6A) and human betaherpesvirus 6B (HHV-6B).

The purity of each peptide is ≥95% (HPLC-MS).

Application

The in-vitro stimulation of Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) with HHV6 ImmuneSelect activates memory T cells specific to the virus, leading to cytokine secretion and the increased expression of specific surface markers. These biomarkers can be detected using various techniques: ELISpot kits quantify cytokine-producing cells, while flow cytometry measures cells expressing these specific surface markers.
