Description

The EBV peptide pool contains 44 peptides (8-21mer) from Human herpesvirus 4 (Epstein Barr virus), derived from the following proteins:

The peptide sequences are a mixture of MHC class–I & MHC class–II epitopes.  The purity of each peptide is ≥95% (HPLC-MS).

Application

The in-vitro stimulation of Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) with EBV ImmuneSelect Peptide Pool activates memory T cells specific to the virus, leading to cytokine secretion and the increased expression of specific surface markers.
